ABANDONED SAILING BOAT Trip to Eastbourne! This week we have some friends and a dog aboard sailing Indiana! As you know we are still novices, so take every opportunity we can, to learn how to sail our sailboat (as we bought her with no experience). In this episode we plot a course to Eastbourne with the intention of mooring up there for the night. We slip the lines, strap on the lifejackets and head on out of the marina. After a few hours we weren’t making any way, with wind and tide dead against us! We finally made the decision to abandon our sailboat trip to Eastbourne and headed back to Brighton Marina. We had a great day still and learned a lot, one important take, is that we loved having a dog onboard and hope we can have a sailboat dog of our own one day! Chris also tackles some boat projects and lays some carpet for us! Making Indiana look more like our sailboat home.
