A Spray Cover For My Drascombe Lugger Lulu
This video is all about making a spray cover from scratch. One thing I don;t like about the Lugger is the openness of the bow at sea and how waves can swamp the boat if they get too big. A spraycover would help mitigate this , but we have to get it right. This is a very complex project and perhaps one I shouldn't have started!!! Enjoy! 00:00 Intro 03:34 Checking the height 07:00 Bowsprit angle 08:36 Attaching the fairlead 10:46 First look at the cover 13:38 Finding a fit and shape 18:31 Cutting the cover to size 20:40 Cutting the Port side 22:17 Dry fit with batons 29:33 Adjusting the Bowsprit hole 32:29 Bye! đ My new website: https://sailingwithdave.com â¤ī¸ Comments are open, ask anything you want in the comments section! đĸ If you enjoyed this video, then please don't forget to share and let people know about the channel đ Click here to "Subscribe" and never miss a video: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZVuUVKKtVxulmgL3WzejjQ?sub_confirmation=1
