A deserted DRUG ISLAND?! Exploring Cistern Cay on Sailing Catamaran Lost Cat - Berry Islands Ep. 4

Episode 4 of our adventures in the Bahamas' Berry Islands! This week we explore Cistern Cay, a deserted isle in the Berry Islands that once served as a drug drop for a Columbian Kingpin. We walk roads long forgotten and check out the runway where the sunken airplane wreck (from Episode 3) attempted to take lift off. We then head over to nearby Great Harbour Cay Marina. With an oil leak in the starboard engine, the marina was the best place for us to arrange for a new part to be flown in from Florida. The marina is a designated hurricane hole. If you ever find yourself in the Berry Islands during hurricane season, this is a recommended spot! Once we are settled in, we head into town to get groceries for the week. Luckily, the marina provides bicycles to guests and we were able to take a fun ride into town. And wouldn't you know it, after a long day James finds a friendly Manatee in our marina and takes a dip with him. Seriously cool to watch him/her drink from the waterhose.
