70 - We're Officially A Sailboat Again! (Sailing To Fiji's Lau Group)

This time it was on a passage to Vanua Balavu in the Lau Group on the eastern side of Fiji. This passage must be timed just right so you don't have to bash straight into the tradewinds. Fortunately, we found a light day with slight northerly winds and went for it and were rewarded with an awesome sail. Upon our arrival, we did the traditional sevu sevu ceremony with the local chief and received permission to go explore the Bay of Islands. Only one problem. It started raining and wouldn't stop! Finally we were able to make our way up to one of the most amazing anchorages we've ever been in and could relish in the fact that we had finally made it here. Thanks for watching!
