63 - Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria

In this episode we leave the island of Lanzarote, and sail down the east coast of the Canary Island of Fuerteventura, where we see an unusual dolphin sighting....Risso's dolphins. We then explore the Fuerteventura town of Morro Jable, and hike the adjacent tallest peak on the island, Pico de la Zarza. Great views and a nice challenging (but achievable) hike. We then move to Las Palmas on the island of Gran Canaria, where we do a bit of exploring, but also a bunch of boat work including: - replacing the engine control panel - fixing cabin lights and reading lights - defrosting the fridge, and adding an insulating gasket - replacing the salon table latches We then provision for our passage to Cape Verde, and explore the old town area, visiting the Museo Canario, and eat some Canarian tapas!
