54 - A Coruna, Spain. Electrical work, food, and history.
In this episode we do some boat repairs. Kevin gets to do some electrical work to fix the fact that the alternator was not charging the batteries during the Biscay Bay crossing. He gets to use the new crimping tool! Kevin also heads up the mast to inspect the rigging and top of the halyards, and to lubricate the mast track for the mainsail cars. The crew explores the food and drinks in La Coruna, Spain, which is part of Galicia. We learn that a primary language here on most signage is actually Galico or Galician, not Spanish, although everyone seems to also understand Spanish. Kirsty leaves the boat because she has to head home to England. We check out the Tower of Hercules, and a castle [Castelo de Santo Anton]. And we prepare for our continued passage toward Muxia, west of La Coruna. Thanks for following!
