This time on Kawai we welcome and introduce Jase's parents to sailing with some not so good weather and they love it! Our first sail from Supetar, Brac to Milna, Brac we have 20 knot winds, 8 degrees and storms around. From Milna we sail on to Uvala Smrka, Brac where we anchor with an unusual and interesting view of a submarine bunker from World War II. We enjoy a walk with some wildlife and settle in to catch up with a few drinks and a great view of Kawai and the bunker. The next day we sail a short distance to Uvala Blaca to hike up to Blaca Monastery and enjoy learning about the history and how it was run. We made it back to Kawai just in time for the winds to pick up and we sail further along the southern side of Brac towards Zlatni Rat. Unfortunately the winds and waves continue to increase so we do a quick sail by Zlatni Rat and move on towards Jelsa and Vrboska on Hvar. Jase's parents get to experience great sailing in over 26 knots and thankfully they love the experience. The next day we run to Vrboska for a quick look before moving on to Hvar town and Pakleni Islands. More crazy weather arrives and we take shelter in the Pakleni Islands on a mooring ball where we witness a bit of chaos - dragged mooring ball, tangled anchors and some wild sailing. We continue checking out many Croatian towns including Korcula and Slano where we find a picturesque and sheltered anchorage close to Dubrovnik. Our time in Croatia comes to an end for now as we check out of Dubrovnik and head towards Montenegro. About us: Our names are Jason and Tracey and we traded our house, cars, business, job and security for freedom, adventure, travel and living simply amongst nature and the seas on our 45 foot Hanse 445 sailing boat, Kawai. We don't know exactly where the winds will take us at this stage but over the next year we hope to sail to Turkey, Greece, Montenegro, Croatia, Italy, Spain, Morocco, Gibraltar, Canary Islands and then across the Atlantic Ocean. Jase loves making travel videos and we decided to upload to youtube to share our adventure. We really hope you enjoy and feel free to drop us a comment any time to chat or subscribe to follow along :) Instagram Trace: https://www.instagram.com/trace_y02/?hl=en Jason: https://www.instagram.com/jase_stephens1/?hl=en Music 1.
