155: Blown Away's FIRST YEAR BOAT & LIVING EXPENSES; 2015 Leopard 44 Catamaran

This is our 4th and final video in our financial series. We hope the videos have been helpful and informative especially for those getting ready to buy a boat. In the first three videos, we focused on celebrating a successful first year on the water, we discuss whether we would buy another charter boat, and we shared all of our costs of upgrading and equipping our 2015 Leopard 44 Catamaran. This video focuses on the cost of Boat and Living expenses. Under each category, we discuss 5 sub-categories. Boat Expenses: Boat Insurance, Repair/Maintenance, Gov't Fees, Dockage, and Fuel Living Expenses: Provisioning, Land Travel, Communications, Miscellaneous, and Health Care. For 20 minutes, we provide the cost of each category and some of the purchases contributed to the total cost. We knew that our first year would be our most expensive as we had a lot of one-off purchases. We anticipate a significant decrease in our monthly expenses as we move forward.
