My hungry bilge ate an iPhone 11, iPhone 12, and a .45 cal magazine with 13 bullets. The lesson here is to empty pockets prior to working on the boat. I also learned about caring for modern cell phones 😉. For real though, I learned that I should close the raw water sea-cock and open the strainer so that the ice can expand without busting pipes/hoses.
