This week we take you back aboard SVDreamChaser to ride out a tropical depression that stayed just below a category one hurricane. The storm was to be named Olga if the winds were sustaining over 40 mph. It formed quickly in the Gulf of Mexico and headed north, providing less than 24 hours notice of impact to the Southern Louisiana coastline. We also go downtown PuntaGorda for a Halloween celebration that was fun for all ages. I must say that the people in the area go All Out for this holiday and it had a feel much like a festival. Lastly, we go out in the powerboat on Charlotte Harbor, catch some dolphins on film and do some practice maneuvering to get better at piloting this boat in close quarters. Im zweiten Teil der Serie beschreibe ich unseren Weg von der Ostsee (Kiel), durch den Nord Ostsee Kanal (NOK), über den Giselaukanal, in den Eiderkanal und weiter über Tönning bis zum Eidersperrwerk.

Der letzte Teil der Nordseetörn Serie findet leider ohne Björn und Rudi statt, dafür geht es bei NW 5-6 von Helgoland zurück nach Cuxhaven. Es schliesst sich dann wieder eine lange Kanalfahrt mit einer idyllischen Unterbrechung bei der Giselauschleuse an. Damit ist der Sommerurlaubstörn 2019 nun bei YouTube ad acta gelegt :-) Viel Spass beim Schauen!
