Tillsammans med Varbergs förenade surfare bygger vi nu en föreningslokal med fokus på surf och gemenskap i Apelviken! 🤙 VARFÖR SATSAR VI PÅ STORMHUSET? 🏄 Varberg och Surf hör ihop! Vi tror att Stormhuset stärker Varbergs identitet och attraktivitet för både oss som bor här och turister. Stornhuset möjliggör surf året om och gör surfsporterna tillgängliga för fler genom en fysisk mötesplats. 👩‍🦱👣🏄 Fler barn och unga kommer kunna testa vattensport I brist på faciliteter finns det i dag ingen organiserad ledarledd föreningsverksamhet för unga inom surfsporterna. Varbergs Förenade Surfare är en aktiv och engagerad förening med 300 aktiva medlemmar. Med Stormhuset kommer föreningen kunna utveckla sin barn- och ungdomsverksamhet och vattensport kommer bli tillgängligt för fler som träningsform och sysselsättning. 🤙 För att bygga gemenskap och öka säkerheten till havs Genom att skapa förutsättningar för gemenskap på land ökar vi också säkerheten till havs. Surfdiciplinerna är individuella sporter och en fysisk mötesplats för gemenskap är bästa bryggan för att öka förståelsen och respekten för varandra i vattnet. We have a full boat now that Stephanie and Gabe have joined the fun! We are heading to Andros Island to relive my parents trip 50 years ago. Descubrimos las islas de las Sporadas donde tuvimos una semana con muy poco viento, (aquí es una zona normalmente con bastante Maltemi, viento del Norte) sorprendidos por la poca gente que navega en ellas, un destino de mucha tranquilidad y de bahías increíbles donde refugiarse bien en caso de Maltemi Fuerte. Una área muy protegida como reserva natural, ya que cuentan con 20 focas censadas pero no tuvimos la suerte de poder ver alguna, ni tan siquiera delfines que normalmente avistamos en todos los viajes.
