Una vuelta por la pequeña y agradable isla de Carriacou, perteneciente a Granada y Las Granadinas. Recorrimos la isla parando en los lugares mas significativos, bonitas vistas y pueblecitos. Gentes muy agradables. Bajo el mar un sitio magnifico donde hacer Snorkel, sus aguas claras, están menos afectadas que las de Granada por las corrientes que arrastran sedimentos. Para los que vayáis al Caribe, el mejor sitio para parar si hace viento es Tyrrel Bay, si no mejor y mas tranquilo frente a Sandy Island. Si queremos conocer la islita no nos quedara mas que fondear cerca de la protegidas bahías, y tomar un taxi que por unos 180 EC$, te dan un paseo por toda la isla de un par de horas. Esta isla es mas seca al tener menos relieve montañoso llueve mucho menos que en Granada.

Busy with selling apartment and car, packing and storing, and getting excited about the fact that we are moving aboard our sailboat in May 2020. Really looking forward to the next chapter in our lives ❤️⛵️ Sailing in Northern Norway is the number one activity for us, Marena and Roger Leivseth. We love our Argo, which is a German built Bavaria 31 Cruiser, 2008. Sailing is giving us rest, peace and energy. In these beautiful surroundings it is always a pleasure to take our beloved sailboat out for a cruise. We live up north in Norway, in Fauske, just north of the Arctic circle close to the Lofoten Islands. We experience the midnight sun during summers and polar nights during the winters. Our sailing season usually starts in the end of March due to the polar nights and temperatures way below freezing during winter. We normally end the sailing season in October for the same reasons. We are very fortunate to live in these surroundings with the love for sailing. The nearby areas are lovely places to visit, both fjords, archipelagos and islands in open sea. In this episode we get a delay in our vacation sailing, because of RPM problems. The motor wanted to stop several times during a 8 nautical mile trip.
