The ample teak-laid cockpit features two steering stations where all manoeuvres are controlled from, enough seating and a foldable cockpit table. She-Ra is well equipped with a performance mast, carbon Park Avenue boom, hydraulic backstay adjuster, hydraulic boom vang, and electric winches. Further to that, equipped with a 230hp diesel engine, folding prop, bow thruster, generator, exhaustive navigation package, water maker, and a tender with outboard, etc. The interior of this CNB Bordeaux 60 is spacious, bathes in natural light, and is throughout fitted out with air conditioning. The huge galley, located down forward of the saloon, runs across the full width of the boat. Her main features are the wide hydraulic up/down platform to launch the dinghy, and her huge lounging areas; the topside sundeck atop the coach roof, the forward lounge, and the spacious covered aft cockpit. The helm station is well protected by a bimini, offers great visibility and is quickly accessible from the aft deck. Von den Gambier-Inseln liegt der Point Nemo nochmals 2.000 km Richtung Süden. 2.000 km sind 1.080 nM. Bei einem Etmal von 125 nM könnten wir Point Nemo in 8 ½ Tagen erreichen. Aber keine Sorge uns zieht es auf der Barfußroute weiter gen Westen. Unsere nächste anstehende Etappe bringt uns zurück nach Tahiti. Plötzlich beschleunigte sich mein Leben erheblich, ich verkaufte mein Haus, löste den Hausrat auf und begann Berge an Schiffsausrüstung anzuschaffen. „Leinen los!“ war für Anfang März 2021geplant – und so kam es auch, trotz Corona. Brigitta war natürlich erst einmal vollkommen überrascht, obwohl eine Weltumsegelung wesentlich besser in Ihr berufliches Leben als Vorruheständlerin passte als in meins. In den letzten 6 Monaten hat Sie aber eine erstaunliche Entwicklung hinter sich gebracht und freut sich auf unser großes Abenteuer genau wie ich. MOJO is hull 51 of the popular German Frers-designed Hylas 54. Considered the benchmark blue-water cruiser, the Queen Long built Hylas Yachts have a storied history of over 30 years of continuous production under three generations of family ownership. The Hylas 54 is a large couples cruiser, designed to be circumnavigation capable, crewed short handed, but also with the space for guests or two couples full-time cruising. Three generous cabins, a large raised saloon, passageway galley, full navigation station, cutter-rig, and center-cockpit design are only some of the Hylas 54's attributes. MOJO was completed as the highest specification Hylas 54 built by Queen Long and she was one of the last few constructed before the model was revised into the Hylas 56.
