'Renegade' is a Dehler 34 listed exclusively for sale with YOTI on Sydney Harbour. https://www.yoti.com.au/listing/dehler-34-renegade Launched in just December 2023, Renegade is stamped with a 2024 hull number and is still under warranty. Offered for sale for her original owner, Renegade would suit those considering a new order. The German built Dehler 34 beautifully and successfully blends an agile and responsive performance yacht with a high-quality cruising platform. This is a higher end brand in which its quality becomes obvious when stepping on board. Renegade boasts a very solid list of upgrades chosen to both maximize speed while also offering a very easy to sail package. The performance rig and rudder were chosen along with rod rigging. ► Full test in Multihulls World N°203. ► After its sojourn in La Grande-Motte where it made its world premiere, the Tricat 8.50 #1 returned to Brittany, where we got the opportunity to test it in the Gulf of Morbihan. The program for our trip out between two near-tropical squalls? Beaching on the shoreline and enjoying the thrill of gliding across flat water. Tricat, which has specialized in the under-30-foot folding trimaran sector since 2002, is replacing the valiant 25. Still folding, of course, the new 8.50 is logically much more modern than its predecessor, with an added touch of comfort and agility. The lifting daggerboards are found on the floats, freeing up the central hull. As for the companionway hatch, this has 3 positions and can be fitted with a sprayhood and sun awning. Inside, thanks to double chines, the 8.50 manages to offer rather decent headroom of 6 feet (1.82 m). Brigitta war natürlich erst einmal vollkommen überrascht, obwohl eine Weltumsegelung wesentlich besser in Ihr berufliches Leben als Vorruheständlerin passte als in meins. In den letzten 6 Monaten hat Sie aber eine erstaunliche Entwicklung hinter sich gebracht und freut sich auf unser großes Abenteuer genau wie ich. MANY factors and MANY months have contributed to this difficult decision. We always said that Australia was our "bail out" point in our sailing journey, so if we had had enough, we would put the boat up for sale there. Being in New Zealand these past 5 months this thought has come to the forefront. Multiple factors have played a role in this decision - Shannon's migraines and seasickness, her missing our older children & family in the US, the difficulty home schooling Davis with ADHD, the increase in Star link fees with decreased internet access, Robs stress about the boat and keeping us safe, and the state of the World and its relations to the US all contribute. We DID NOT take this decision lightly and honestly never planned to air this content but in keeping with being honest and showing you the good and bad of boat life we feel this is part of our story. We are a suburban blended family that has raised our 3 older children and now want to travel the world. After planning and saving for the past 6 years, we are now embracing our dream of sailing the world on our Leopard 45 sailing catamaran.
