From just a year ago to today our lives have changed dramatically. After selling all the material things we had worked so hard for, we bought our catamaran and set sail to see the world. So far, we’ve covered thousands of miles, learned to sail, seen things from a special perspective, and enjoyed living in our ocean home. We hope you will enjoy our interior tour. There are new boats and old boats and the time between to make adventure happen is precious. We wanted to set sail right away… and we needed to have a parachute (just in case all our dreams were really just wishes). Turns out, we love this life, just like we knew we would, and we love our boat too.  We have lived aboard our boat for almost a year. Life is much different today that it was back then. At the beginning of our journey, we had some tough choices to make about our boat/home purchase. Originally, we were looking at blue water monohulls, but the boats in our price range needed surveys and survey reports suggested a lot of work and time on the hard. In the end, we decided to buy a Lagoon Catamaran. We didn't know each other very well and we had limited sailing experience. It seemed wise to buy a manageable and popular boat that would be easy to learn on and (just in case) in demand if we decided to sell. It turns out that the Starship is awesome and we love her.
