After 6 weeks in the US we're back in Trinidad! The travel was great but it's good to be home, with an excited welcome from our dog Rose! There's lots to unpack, boat work to start and all before I fly out again to visit Australia for the first time since I moved aboard, 4 years ago. After backpacking Asia, road tripping Europe and doing a bit of van life, we’re now exploring the world aboard our Leopard 45 catamaran. Life to leeward can be wet and wild for the Jib Trimmer. Eyes ahead and up is the only way to roll to keep the sail shape right. The waves were short and sharp on the way out of Strangford Lough as the J109 GTR bounces over the bar on it way to victory in the 2024 Ardglass Race.
