Sorry to disappoint you but the biggest trick about traveling long term is learning how to save and spending as less as possible in every major cost. I volunteer, I use couchsurfing, I hitchhike, I camp, I cook my food, but in the end of the equation you will always need a bit of money to pay visas, cover your entertainment and not starve on the road. We built the F4 Foiling Catamaran for Red Bull. They went on an epic adventure to foil from New York to Bermuda. They encountered 35-knot winds and waves up to 25 feet which hammered the "F4," a 46-foot foiling catamaran. Ideal foiling conditions out of New York turned treacherous for some of the world’s best sailors, who battled the elements for over 66 hours during a 662-mile (1,065km) open ocean journey.
