On Sunday, 9 October 2016 racing was cancelled at Royals as gale force northerlies caused damage around Melbourne and the RYCV Marina. Winds of up to 46kts gusting to almost 60kts were recorded at Fawkner Beacon and peaked around 2.00pm, which resulted in several mooring lines letting go as yachts lurched around in the wind and up to one metre waves that lashed against the marina. The Delmarva Circumference has been on my bucket list since I was young. Toni and I wanted to take "Moments in Time" around the Delmarva Peninsula for quite some time but schedules and weather did not permit us. Finally, a weather window opened in late September, so Toni and I slipped the lines and started our odyssey. It took us about 7.5 days and about 500 miles.

Where should we go or what should we try next? We've been in Trinidad a while but hadn't tried a huge selection of local food, so when a Trini friend invited us to go to the Queen's Park Savannah Food Strip in Port of Spain of course we said yes! It was a fun way to try a huge selection of dishes, including Goat Geera, Chicken Roti, Pig Tails and Pie. ✨Per creare bisogna prima di tutto vivere, altrimenti da cosa creiamo? Io sono Giulia e sto scrivendo un libro mentre vivo in barca a vela. ⛵️Oggi navighiamo tra le Isole Incoronate, in Croazia. Anche se mi ero ripromessa di scrivere ogni giorno, oggi ho deciso di usare tutto il mio tempo per esplorare questo luogo, che sono certa mi darà molta ispirazione. Dopo aver navigato per alcune ore tra le isole, abbiamo ormeggiato al moletto e siamo scesi ad esplorare la terraferma. A parte un passo sul mio diario, non ho scritto nulla, ma sono felice di aver vissuto. 🤗E ti invito a fare lo stesso.
