While in Trinidad we've had people recommend a huge range of foods and local dishes to try. Over the last few weeks I've been listening to other cruisers rave about the aloo pie at the Port of Spain Central Market so today I got myself one and I'm SO glad I did! The mix of herbs, spices, potato, chickpeas and everything else stuffed inside the fried bread was delicious. What do you need to know to be a sailing cruiser?! You need to know how to use a bridle or snubber. This bit of kit removed the pressure from the windlass that the chain/anchor rode has on it. #sailinglife #sailingboat #sailing
