Spearfishing massive Yellowtail Amberjack in Western Australia. Guess what this one weighed in at? I dove down intending to just get footage of this huge school of massive Samson Fish. But as I got level with the school, I discovered it was only the front part of a larger school. The whole back portion was many more monster Yellowtail Amberjack. I waited for a clean shot, only just missing the brain. But this shot stuck hard and my spear let me use all the leverage I wanted to so I could pull in this massive fish solo without using any floats. . . Witness an impressive spectacle from the #StripedEelCatfish as they move in unison. This sighting was quite rare since they are primarily nocturnal creatures. Though cute, it is important to leave them alone, especially when you are not wearing proper protection since they possess venomous spines on their dorsal and pectoral fins. These spines are sharp and can cause stings if touched. Ouch! Ready for an underwater adventure with us to see marine species moving in harmony? Any #yacht featured in the superb pre-Second World War series of ‘Uffa Fox books’ is without question a special one, and DRIAC may be best known these days from her inclusion in Fox’s ‘Sailing, Seamanship and Yacht Construction’ (1934). From a time when the design of the ideal offshore #sailing #cruiser was still evolving and much discussed, Uffa waxed lyrical about this characterful Charles E. Nicholson design which had comfortably reeled off well over 5000 miles in her first two seasons, including Portsmouth to Malta and back, under the command of her redoubtable first owner, A.G.H. Macpherson. DRIAC is still taking people on sailing adventures and, as she has always done, entrances with her looks, presence, and no-nonsense sailing ability. https://www.sandemanyachtcompany.co.uk/yacht/608/DRIAC

Getting our groove on. Silent disco in the Solarium onboard Royal Caribbean's Wonder of the Seas. Great fun.
