Toni and I had the opportunity to check out the first Seawind 1370 in the United States. We did not think twice and headed up to Sail Away Catamarans to enjoy a demonstration sail on Damsel Fly. The 1370 is only 4 feet longer than the 1260, but it is a very different boat. There were things we liked and things we did not, so like every other boat known to mankind, it comes down to compromises. Like all Seawinds, she sailed very nicely in the low winds.

'Great Fun' is a Tiara 3200 Open with twin 8.1L Crusaders and is in great condition. This is a fantastic cruising package with the reputable Tiara brand. Recent upgrades include new dinghy and Yamaha 9.9 engine on Hurley davit system, all lights replaced with LED, new trim tab indicators, bus heater, and swim grid ladder installed. Anglers will enjoy the open deck layout, folding transom bench, and prep station complete with cutting board, sink, and fridge. At the helm you’ll find a double wide seat and Garmin navigation and radar. The passenger seat can change orientation to face the bow or to starboard. Skylights let light in through the hardtop. In the cabin, you’ll find beautiful finishes including Ultraleather, hardwood floors, and bright cabinetry. The galley includes stove top, fridge, sink, microwave and plenty of storage. There is an enclosed head with shower. The entire helm deck is on a hydraulic system and lifts up for access to the engines. A drop curtain encloses the helm for protection from weather. Hurricane Helene makes landfall in Florida tonight. We have been experiencing extremely tropical weather here in Panama for the last week because of that storm system.
