In this video we’re sailing upwind in 30+ knots of breeze in Johnstone Strait during the VanIsle360 race with a double-reefed main sail and #3 jib. Lots of sails were destroyed in that leg, including the #3 jib we’re flying in the video. Pour battre le record, détenu depuis le 25 décembre 2016 par Thomas Coville en 49 jours 3 heures 4 minutes et 28 secondes, François Gabart devra couper la ligne d’arrivée avant le 23 décembre à 13h09 (heure française) sur son trimaran MACIF.
