The conditions were perfect to sail out of the remote islands interior blue lagoons and our into the open ocean for an overnight to the next island. We set off into the sunset and at first light we would wake to another destination. The beauty of traveling by the wind and getting to move your home from one beautiful spot to the next is pure magic… when the conditions are right that is! #wesail #sailing #travel #southpacific #islandhopping #boatlife

Other sailors advised us to visit the 2 islands below Cannes, because it was so idyllic. You would be very protected from wind and swell on the 'Plateau du milieu' = between the 2 islands, where it was only 3 meters deep and a good sandy bottom. in this crystal clear water the azure color of the Mediterranean Sea was clearly visible. It was indeed beautiful! Here's a movie filmed with a drone as we lay at anchor (thank you Marco Clazin!). You see, we weren't the only boat this summer ;)
