We are finally here! We have moved onto our sailboat CUBA and we are slowly getting her ready to sail as far as the winds allow us. Just the two of us: Enrique aka Kiki from Cuba and Sarah aka Salsa from Germany and our furry crew. We are setting out adventurizing, shananiganing and learning as we sail through the Mediterranean to – hopefully – cross the Atlantic next year and then circumnavigate the world. With an open mind, a fresh set of eyes and good vibes in tow we are steadily on the move. At the time of her launch she was the largest performance sailing Catamaran ever built. In 2009 NECKER BELLE completed a two-year major refit in Australia. Her interior received a complete interior build-out with the addition of a fourth stateroom and the exterior upper deck was modified to achieve more deck space. Many other improvements have been made over the last few years including the installation of two brand new Caterpillar C7 main engines in 2014.
