#MaseratiMulti70 #RolexFastnetRace Maserati Multi 70 e Giovanni Soldini hanno preso il via per la 49a edizione della Rolex Fastnet Race, tagliando la linea di partenza al largo di Cowes (UK) alle 10.10 UTC (12.10 ora italiana). Il trimarano italiano è partito insieme a 15 altri multiscafi, tra cui il 105’ Ultim 32/23 Maxi Edmond De Rothschild di Cyril Dardashti, con skipper Franck Cammas e Charles Caudrelier, che nel 2019 ha fissato il record dei multiscafi della regata (1 giorno, 4 ore, 2 minuti e 26 secondi). Il diretto concorrente di Maserati Multi 70 è il MOD 70 Argo di Jason Carroll, a bordo del quale è presente anche Brian Thompson, uno degli skipper più esperti di multiscafi spesso sfidato da Soldini. Per questa edizione della storica regata di 695 miglia, organizzata dal Royal Ocean Racing Club, sono partite a scaglioni 336 imbarcazioni, tagliando la starting line con 24 nodi da Ovest e cielo coperto: dovranno uscire dal Solent con vento contrario e tempo severo. Successivamente attraverseranno il Mar Celtico fino al Fastnet, al largo dell’Irlanda, prima di tornare indietro verso il traguardo, al largo di Cherbourg, sulla costa settentrionale della Francia. Sometimes when you raise the sails, the battens get hung up on the lazy jacks. Sometimes they free themselves, sometimes, and you can drop the sail and try again. But sometimes, they have to be wiggled free manually, which is what Brent just did. Once they are free and clear of the lazy jack lines, we raise the sail again and the wind is now carrying our floating home to another island! Want the full adventure? This converted Admiralty Launch vessel is moored on a residential berth in the middle of Greenland dock conveniently located between London Bridge and Docklands on the jubilee and overground lines and nestled in a vibrant boating and local community. If you are looking for a 2 bedroom home or a great place to work from home the combination of saloon wheelhouse, galley, lounge and cabins offers great flexibility in the use of the spaces. It has has a split level with the saloon seating and dining table on the upper level midships with access to the lounge towards the back, and to the galley master cabin and shower room to the front. The lounge has a wood burning stove and wall mounted tv creating a more snug like layout with side windows and double back door access to the canvased deck space, which is useful for storing equipment and logs for the fireplace. This room has a sofa bed so could be the master bedroom or the lounge / guest bedroom. The clever layout of the brightly painted galley has a full size fridge freezer, 4 hob gas cooker and lots of easily accessible storage. The master cabin double bed and under bed storage is located towards the front of the boat. Porthole windows and opening roof lights add charm and detail to the room. The engine room is located under the wheel house saloon in the centre of the boat, containing tanks, electrics batteries etc. Located on a residential mooring in a well run and popular marina, the sale price of boat includes the 10% of selling price payable to Southwark Council for the transfer of the residential licence fee. The boat can be sold with out the licence and off the mooring and the sale price would be adjusted accordingly.
