It felt that our sailing season was cut short. We just took delivery of “Moments in Time” back in April and now she is already laid up for the winter. A colder than normal November and December forced us to put our Seawind 1260 into hibernation. I hope next year we will wise up and simply sail south when the November winds come a calling. Out approach to the nav buoys and the St. Marys inlet with Cumberland island (famous for the wild horses on island) after our 1474 mile passage from Antigua--most of the last 31 hours were in a Storm with winds at 40 knots, 4-6 meter seas and we blew out the mainsail just after dawn this day.
