Installing a new floor in an Edencraft is far from a simple task. This 565 build has reached the Joining Shed stage. After completing the stringers, full tank installation, foaming, leveling, and glassing, the floor is finally ready for a dry fit. Once the dry fitting is complete, both surfaces will be prepped. The base of the floor will be resin-coated, and the hull will be layered with chopped fiberglass and resin. With precision, the floor is then carefully placed in position and weighted down to create a strong chemical bond between the two surfaces. From this point, any gap between the floor liner and the hull will be filled with foam, sanded to perfection, and sealed with a layer of fibreglass. Excitement and anticipation were building in English Harbour, Antigua over the weekend as we counted down to Race Day 1 of the 2019 Oyster Antigua Regatta! Thirty Oyster Yachts have gathered in Antigua this year to enjoy exhilarating sailing and fabulous shoreside parties in one of the world's most outstanding sailing locations. On Sunday 7th April, a welcome celebration was held marking the final chapter of the 2017-2019 Oyster World Rally.
