hello! It has been a rough few weeks onboard with working through all of the possible routes and weather windows to sail through the Bahamas during what is supposed to be a very active hurricane season. We would have been rushing through and that just seemed silly. So, we’ve come to the difficult decision that it safest for us to sail north until early fall before making our way back south. I spent a couple hours looking for some fish to shoot and visibility was really poor but I was lucky enough to find some small neck clams, bagged a few and took them back to my boat to try them. I put a little secret sauce on them, which was Tabasco, lime, fresh garlic and soy sauce. You can see it dripping down my neck! This was the very first time I have ever tried raw clams.
