hello! It has been a rough few weeks onboard with working through all of the possible routes and weather windows to sail through the Bahamas during what is supposed to be a very active hurricane season. We would have been rushing through and that just seemed silly. So, we’ve come to the difficult decision that it safest for us to sail north until early fall before making our way back south. There were plenty of boats on the star line for the SLYC Two day event, Dark and Scary got slightly to windward of GTR shortly after the start but was slowly burnt off by the superior hight of the J109 GTR. The team at bottom up boats hope you are enjoying some of the best bits from the the 2024 sailing season.

Here is a $100 fix for a 10K problem. Don't give up on your old trusted diesel engine. Does she loos RPM and eventually dies? Do you have to change fuel filters way too frequently? It might be just a diesel bug.
