Diesmal liegt ein ganz besonderes Highlight auf unserer Route: Die schmalste Meerenge der Welt. Diese kann aufgrund starker Strömungen nur nachts durchfahren werden. Während der Durchfahrt im Pulk mit einigen Segelbooten staut es sich gerade an der engsten Stelle bedenklich! Seht selbst, ob wir heil durchkommen und was wir noch so erleben auf dieser Tour. This time there is a very special highlight on our route: the narrowest strait in the world. Due to strong currents, it can only be crossed at night. The wind disappeared. Which means… I’m now on full-time steering duty. The next 48 hours will basically be me glued to the helm, trying to keep us moving in the right direction all the way to Sint Maarten. Not exactly the most exciting part of the crossing. Just slow progress, small adjustments, and a lot of time behind the wheel. I’m also so tired at this point that I’ve started mixing the days together… I was fully convinced today was day 32. It’s day 33. That’s where we’re at 😅 Anyway, this is probably what the end of the crossing will look like.
