And we’re off! 🌎 Today marks the start of our passage across the Atlantic to the Caribbean. Light winds made for a slow start, but nature put on a show—dolphins, small whales, and even turtles, some swimming upside down! We checked to make sure they were okay, and luckily, they were. With the wind dying, we’ll be motoring through the night, but a big highlight was testing our spinnaker setup for the first time. Per quanto uno desideri la propria intimità, i propri ritmi, le proprie abitudini, quando si presenta un vuoto cerchiamo in ogni modo di colmarlo. Fa parte di noi, d’altronde. Rifiutare il dolore tanto quanto ricercare i legami. E noi, in questo viaggio durato molto più di un mese e mezzo, abbiamo creato qualcosa di indissolubile. Sailing Wellness supported by Cork Education and Training Board REACH fund provides a three day voyage on the historic sailing ship AK Ilen. The voyage started in Kinsale, visited Glendora and finished in Baltimore. The AK Ilen was build in Baltimore nearly 100 years ago.
