This is a Sango built in Oregon, USA, and then trailed down to Mexico's Baja for its first sails. Mike wrote "Fastest we went this trip was 13 knots with a reef in the main and ill fitting sails. Was Great! " Even with four on board and when towing an 8ft Crayfish!! You can see more on the Sango here http://sailingcatamarans.com/index.php/designs-2/2-catamarans-under-25ft/160-sango
Some of you might know that I bought a boat a few months ago. She’s a beautiful old timber fishing boat originally from Melbourne, build in 1979. I’ve started turning her into my dream home, the perfect little cosy liveaboard. It has been the most amazing adventure so far and I decided to share it online for anyone who is interested ⛵️ It’s been a challenging few months so far. Full of ups and downs, set backs and new jobs that weren’t even planned. But it has also been super rewarding to figure it all out on my own (and the help of some friends). I have no background in building or carpentry or no knowledge at all about electrical work and boats in general. So I have been learning so much and I can’t wait to set sail :) #sailingstormy
This wave didn’t just hit the boat… it ATE the boat. 😳🌊 Catamaran disappears under whitewater and comes out fighting — this is real ocean chaos. ⛵⚡ #SailingLife #OceanStorm #Catamaran #ExtremeSailing #BoatLife #SailingAdventure #OceanPower #StormChasing #MarineLife #WaveHit #InsaneWaves #OceanAddict #SailingDaily #SeaStorm #NatureRaw
