YardWork Mast, Paint and Deck

This week the painting of the hull continues. The second color gets added and you get a sneak peek of it (although the boat is still masked off for painting) We see some progress on the mast being set up to accept our hardware and we make a trip to the sail loft to get new slugs put on the sail for the inbound sail track on the mizzen. We also get a quote for re-fiberglassing the decks. We have removed the old teak decks, we have repaired a lot of core that needed it and now it is a matter of giving it a few new layers of skin to reduce possible leaks in the 7000 screw holes from the teak decks. We have always loved the Formosa, bought one (on a bit of a whim) late in 2014, moved aboard this one right away and started to do our refit while living board.
