Why its a Good Idea to Have a Boat Broker When Buying a Cruising Boat

We're back with Gary Fretz for some more expert information. We filmed this before heading north for our refit and wanted to share it as it might help some of you who are looking to buy a boat. When we first started researching buying a boat, I had strongly considered going the DIY route and not getting a buyer's broker. But after researching a bit I changed my mind and I'm really glad I did. This video discusses why having a broker can way outweigh the cost of their commission (which the seller pays) in most cases for larger cruising yachts.
