Why It Mattered - Youth & Women's Americas Cup

The 37th America’s Cup will go down as one of the most intense, action-packed Cup series in the history of the event. But it will also be noted for introducing around 100 youth and female sailors into the Cup world. In more than 170 years, this has never happened. The Unicredit Youth America’s Cup and the Puig Womens’ America’s Cups, were major steps forward for the America's Cup where the racing was close, intense and at times extremely challenging thanks to some punchy conditions.
