To celebrate reaching 15K, this video is available to everyone for the first time! During Carnival the streets of Marigot came alive with the colour, rhythm, and energetic vibe of the Caribbean. It was an opportunity for me to explore more Caribbean culture, enjoying the colorful Carnival parade. Having spent Carnival in Trinidad last year, experiencing it St Martin was something new, with it's own traditions and Caribbean Carnival history. The parade was an impressive display of energy, with King Momo, moko jumbie stilt walkers, whip cracking, drumming and costumed troupes, who performed their carnival dance moves along the route. The day ended at Galisbay Carnival Village, with a live music concert featuring local and international acts, and fire breathers!
