When storms and visitors collide / Sardinia & Corsica Vlog 48

What happens when you invite your English cousins on a boat holiday and a massive storm hits the same afternoon? A baptism of fire (or water?) luckily it didn't last long and we were able to show our Bristolian family the joys of sailing on Nikau around the stunning Maddelena islands in Sardinia as well as the awe inspiring clifftop town of Bonafacio just a short sail away in Corsica. We were able to teach the cuzzies some things about New Zealand and they in turn won us over with their cute accents and what we like to call 'Bristolianisms' - enjoy! We are the Robbins family sailing on our boat named Nikau. We are a family of 5. Our 3 kids are doing NZ correspondence school on board. They are growing to love it! What's not to love about 3 hours of school a day and then a different playground for the afternoon every day! We've traveled from New Zealand to Sardinia in Italy to pick up our boat and we plan over a few seasons to sail her back to New Zealand. We hope you enjoy following us on our adventures!
