We Say Good-bye To An Injured Crew Mate | Sailing Across The English Channel | Ep58

This is Episode 58 of our adventure. Our ninth and last week sailing the west coast of France. We make full use of our time in Jersey with a visit to Elizabeth Castle. Kelvin then has to make the tough call as a visit to A&E brings bad news. We become actual five go sailing but have trouble finding a suitable weather window to leave the island. We make poor decisions in our passage planning and are forced to turn back. We are given advice from the harbour master which goes against everything we have been taught but it finally gets us off the Island and across the channel to England. We are a family of five with plans for an epic adventure, sailing around the world. We have bought a boat we have to gut it, rebuild it, sell all of our possessions and have the guts to cast off.
