We sailed into covid EP3 (Arborek, Deer Island, Hoga Island), Aircraft Chemtrails, Sinking Ships ...
Hi Everyone - In this episode Impi continues exploring Indonesia. We depart the beautiful islands of Raja Ampat for Hoga Island in the Wakatobi Regency. Our departure is from the amazingly beautiful and arty island of Arborek in Raja Ampat and means we have to sail across the top of Buru Island (third largest of the Maluku Islands) En route we duck into an island group for Deer Island to avoid weather. WEATHER is totally erratic and although we've studied it carefully we are unable to avoid the discomfort. We realise this is to be expected with sailing places 'out of season' however the weather programs are not anywhere close. We observe what appears to be aircraft seeding a weather front possibly to create rain for the dry region, however we are not sure of these facts but we do see a severe front developing from the trails left by the aircraft which makes us wonder ... perhaps it's more about the weather Jet streams ? A massive storm at night has us on sharp alert to keep our catamaran afloat - it's literally survival style conditions but our Lagoon 440 makes it through. Sadly we sail into debris and later learn a ship had capsized in our vicinity . At Hoga island we interview a very interesting fellow South African doing reef restoration and more - I'm sure you'll find this interesting. Our discussion covers reef restoration techniques, the company who produce Mars chocolate bars and their input into reef restoration, diving the area and some dramatic discussions about getting caught up in down currents (downdrafts) Well, we hope this video is informative especially for those wishing to sail this region and in general, we found these visits very interesting for ourselves TIMESTAMP: 00:00 Intro 00:40 Arborek a brief look at the island 02:54 Diving Yangello 04:00 Diving Arborek 04:25 Sailing for Deer Island 05:15 Map of sailing ground 05:40 Arrive Deer Island 07:35 Beraar - Sailing past - Mangimangi, Walo Islands 09:24 Sailing for Hoga Island 09:30 "Chemtrails" or not ?
