UK DF65 Dragonforce National Championship 2025

A report from the DF65 DragonForce 2025 UK National Championships held by Lincoln Radio Sailing Club on the 29th & 30th March 2025 The DF65 or "DragonForce" model yacht is the a popular one design model racing yacht with an active racing circuit in the UK. Popular in local clubs, this boat provides an ideal introduction to Model Yacht Racing and can be raced all the way up to international Level. More details of the DF65 or DragonForce can be found by checking out some of our other videos which go into some detail but basically the boat is a mass produced, affordable. off the shelf model yacht that is raced as a one design class, all boats are technically the same and available at low cost, which provides close and competitive racing. Radio Sailing (Model yacht racing) is a competitive form of yacht racing run along similar lines to dinghy racing and keelboat racing. The rule set used is a variation on the full Yacht Racing Rules as published by World Sailing.
