Trustees: Science Friday - Oysters
Follow along with Trustees Islands Education Manager, Molly Peach Mayhew, as she guides you through a lesson about marine invertebrates, and in particular oysters. This lesson includes an oyster dissection! This lesson is designed for elementary school aged students, but useful for all ages! Oyster anatomy puzzle adapted from Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum. Materials: -plain white paper (2) -pencil -colored pencils or markers or crayons (8 different colors) -kid friendly scissors The Claire Saltonstall Education Program (CSEP) provides place-based education and experiential learning opportunities for Martha's Vineyard students.
