I had to leave the island to pick up Candice from the mainland, but the weather had other plans. The morning I was set to go, a powerful 40 knot Bora was raging. I waited for it to calm down, but as soon as I set sail, the wind came roaring back, and now I had too much sail up. What happened next? Well I accidentally set a new speed record for my electric boat! And that wasn't the end of the challenge. After the high-speed ride, the wind shifted right on the nose, turning the rest of the journey into a slow, exhausting slog.
