I’ve since navigated diverse waters, from tiny local reservoirs to Lake Constance's vast expanse. Whether facing dead calms, thrilling 15-to-20-knot winds, or freezing sub-zero weather, I always rig up in my dry suit and hit the water. My Tiwal 3 inflatable dinghy is the perfect training platform. Unlike traditional dinghies like the Pico, whose heavy metal boom once struck my head, the Tiwal offers incredible safety. Its lightweight, high-clearance boom makes gybing much less intimidating. It lacks harsh edges, ensuring smooth deck movement, and is effortlessly easy to right after a capsize. This vessel's portability allows me to easily stow it inside my camper van or tiny 4x4. While I anticipated its handling, veteran sailors at my club were amazed by its impressive rigidity and premium materials.
