Starting Season 2 in Carolina Beach NC where I ended season1 in my attempt to reach Florida, then eventually San Diego Ca. What an adventure this undertaking was! I thought I would arrive in Fl in 2 to 3 weeks, here it was 4 months later and I was half lost, scared of what was to come next, and needed to regroup. I invested in things that would make my off the grid winter voyage more enjoyable, then bam my sailboat sinks Labor Day .Later in this episode I take you back on this journey to Annapolis MD where I happen to run accros Kunta Kenta Alex Haley memorial at the spot where slave trade happened.
