#kidsonboats #travel #catamaran We finally set sail away from our winter mooring now that travel restrictions have eased after the lockdown in Spain. The wind is great for our first sail, we don't catch any fish but we do hear a PanPan on the VHF which is not uncommon in this area. When we arrive in the beautiful nature reserve of Cabo De Gata, we anchor near our friends ( Kirlana & Naos) and have great BBQ on the beach and go for a hike to the nearest town. During the next few days, the wind picks up and some of our friends leave to find more shelter. We stay at the anchorage another night and as forecast, the wind calms down so that we are able to have ago on our friends Happy Cat. Yewan decides he is going to save up to buy one.....I think we will need a bigger boat !
