In an extraordinary race around Europe the VO65 and IMOCA60 fleets had everything from flat calm to 40knots thrown at them. To add to the pressure, going into the final offshore leg from Alicante to Genoa three teams could take an overall win in the VO65s and three were on even points in the IMOCA60s - There was everything to play for in a nail biting end to a superb race.
