► We (finally) got the chance to go out on the famous Ultima 55, the powercat that turns heads on the pontoons with its ultra-trendy design. ► This new model, the first in the Ultima range, is characterized by a modest beam of 18’4” (5.6 m) and a very specific design that incorporates a steeply sloping and inverted front to the coachroof, an inverted deck sheer, and lastly, angled bows. ► Like all Sunreef models, the luxurious interiors can be customized on request. As for the outdoor living spaces, these offer a spacious cockpit, sunbathing areas, and a swimming platform. ► With the standard powertrain, we reached 36 knots and discovered a powercat that turns on the level, lifts efficiently on its foils - especially on flat seas.
