We consider ourselves so lucky to experience it shooting lava out.....the noise it made was even more spectacular than the vision of it. We meet a lovely Dutch family who are traveling around and visit our last island of Lipari before heading back to Sicily and wait for the right tides to cross the Messina Strait.
