Four and a half years ago we took delivery of our Leopard 45 sailing catamaran in Fort Lauderdale, FL. At first it was a dream and general conversations, which led to us making a plan, packing up our life on land and finally starting our sailing life aboard OliLuki! Together as a family we have seen a lot, done a lot and continue to see and learn as the great adventures continue! In this episode, our sons Oliver and Lukas meet the Argentinian Navy while touring their Naval Training Sailing Ship the Libertad, a gorgeous tall ship with majestic sailing history and heritage. Andy, now a licensed USCG 100 Ton Master Captain travels to Seattle to help friends sail their catamaran over 1,200 miles south to San Francisco, along the way seeing Orca whales, Humpback whales, Dall's Porpoises and lots and lots of Pacific Ocean fog. Join us as we document our #travel? experiences on our #catamaran #Leopard45 #adventures and uncertainties that come along. 5 years ago we sat down as a family and shared a dream that we all wanted to see come true. A dream that we take a window of time in our lives to do something truly special together, an extended sailing trip, an adventure that would stay with us for the rest of our lives.
