SDA252 Creepy Cassiopea

There are some things you expect to find while diving the anchor. A sea floor covered in pulsing jellyfish brains isn't one of them. We’re at Sand Dollar Beach, where I make a creepy discovery while diving the anchor in murkier than usual water. Upside-down jellyfish called Cassiopea are anchored to the sea floor, pulsing away and looking disturbingly like jellyfish brains. We pull the broken port saildrive shifter cable so we can measure it for replacement, take a break at stunning Sand Dollar Beach and paddleboard along the shoreline. Dave also repairs a sabotaged swing on the beach. A run to Browns Marine takes us through crazy shallow water and a twisted route in search of boat parts, oil, coolant and rope.
