We experienced new cultures. We tried new things like spearfishing, wing-foiling, wing-surfing, deep-sea fishing, new foods, snorkeling, diving, new languages and so much more! Our biggest take-aways from our sailing adventure was that when we take away all the distractions (the good ones and the bad ones) the deep love our family members have for each other. My kids came together, began to enjoy each other's company, apologized quicker, and saw each other's souls over their behaviors or flaws.
